Where to Find Common Items

We have provided a small amount of many staple items for your stay. If you think you may need more, please don’t forget to plan ahead. Many local stores have all of the supplies that you may need and many of them deliver right to the door. More information is found in the section on Ordering Groceries.

Please feel free to use any of the kitchen items. Some are on display, but we still mean for you to use them! Just clean them up and return them to their spots when you are finished.

Bedroom Items

Baby Cot, Gate, High Chair - Normally locked away unless requested prior to changeover
Extra Bedding and Pillows - Each bedroom has a basket or cabinet with extra sheets and alternate pillows that you might prefer
Fans - Closet second from right in the largest bedroom
Lighted Makeup Mirrors - Closet second from right in the largest bedroom. Plug in to use light, but very weak on USB in Bedroom 2. Works well elsewhere

Bathroom Items

Towels - Extra towels are on the shelves in the upstairs en suite

Kitchen Items

Can/Bottle Opener - Wide top drawer in kitchen
Containers for Food - Corner cabinet left of sink has both plastic and stainless steel containers with lids for food storage
Cutting Boards - Marble slab on counter or wood vertical drawers beside the range
Dish Soap - A small bottle under sink
Dishes to Use Outside - Round corner cabinet beside back door
Dishwasher Pods - A couple under sink
Grater - Corner cabinet left of sink. Round graters insert into the lid of a stainless steel bowl
Instruction Booklets - Left drawer of china cabinet / dresser
Scale - Middle drawer beside range
Serving Tray - Either side of the range like vertical drawers
Vase (for flowers) - Right hand upper cabinet beside refrigerator

Cleaning and Other Items

Batteries - 9V for smoke alarms in left drawer of china cabinet / kitchen dresser
Broom and Pan - Closet second from right in the largest bedroom
Iron and Board - Closet second from right in the largest bedroom
Torches / Flashlights -
1. Ground floor: In niche beside front door
2. First floor: On bookshelf beside stairs
3. Second floor: On low beam above radiator
Laundry Detergent - Under sink beside washer
