According to our surveyor, Fox Den Cottage was built in the late 17th Century. It was likely a humble weaver’s cottage and predates the two adjacent ones. The building was Listed Grade II in 1985 for the rubble stone structure and stone tiled roof as well as the mullioned windows, timber casements, and fireplaces. Please take exceptional care if you open any of the very old windows.
